    Disciplinary System

To ensure fairness and accountability, the band operates on a demerit-based system:

    • Demerits – Minor violations of rules may result in the issue of a demerit.

    • 3 Demerits = 1 Suspension – Upon receiving three demerits, a member will serve a suspension from band activities (length to be determined by the leadership).

    • 3 Suspensions = Board Review – Any member who accumulates three suspensions will be brought before the Band Board/Disciplinary Committee for review.

    • Expulsion – If necessary, the Board may decide on permanent expulsion from the band for repeated or severe misconduct.

This system is designed to promote discipline, accountability, and respect while giving members the opportunity to correct their behavior.
